Visual is Valuable

Words create the illusion of shared understanding. A map on the wall proves whether you actually have it.

At Nerd/Noir we often say, “visual is valuable.” This means having a map is an excellent way to get things out of the purely verbal domain, make choices explicit, and understand the territory and route path through it.

To do this we use a variety of tools such as Wardley Mapping, User Story Maps, and the C4 Model for architecture conversations.
