Experiential Learning
David Kolb’s theory describes learning as a four-stage cycle: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. This model is the foundation of the Experiential Learning Cycle and informs how we design workshops and gemba walks to create genuine learning rather than passive instruction. The SECI Model builds on similar ideas about how tacit knowledge becomes explicit through shared experience.
